"When I hear about young people stuck on waiting lists, can't afford to go and camp, turn up without things like waterproofs boots, you know it breaks my heart a little bit really, and running a few races this year seemed like the least I could do"

My team supports Scouts in Scotland to use their voice, work with the media, partners and legislators, and fund their adventures. We also look after the Scouts and other young people planning their visits to Scout Adventures centres.
We believe that every young person in Scotland should have the opportunity to develop life skills through the incredible opportunity of adventure.
Get in touch to discuss what Scouts are doing near you, find out how you can help young people in Scotland who need financial support to enjoy life's adventure to the full, and chat about how communications and engagement can best support your local Scout group to grow.
Rory's Story
Rory grew up as a Scout and is now taking on an incredible personal challenge to raise money as part of the Clan Challenge and give back to the movement that shaped him. He's running 12 races in 12 months — including the Edinburgh Marathon on May 25th, 2025 — to help more young people experience the same life-changing opportunities, from getting the kit they need to going on their first ever camp.

Invest in adventure – it all starts with you

We've challenged ourselves to raise £25,025 in 2025 to help more young people in Scotland to experience the life-changing power of adventure through Scouts.
The money we raise can help us subsidise young people who could not otherwise afford it to go on nights away, reach new communities, pay for equipment like tents and waterproofs to support young people who cannot afford their own, and help renew ageing infrastructure to keep costs down.
There are exciting events to participate in and the exclusive Scouts Scotland Clan Challenge blanket badge to earn. So what are you waiting for? Join the clan and help us invest in adventure. It all starts with you.
